Switchable output transformers? Is it possible?

Dear forum members,
i'm thinking about a true JTM-45/JMP-50 hybrid. It seems like the OT has to be one of the biggest differences tonewise between those amps.
So i was thinking if it is possible to give it a JTM-45 AND a JMP-50 OT that can be switched, then change tubes and rebias. Or would a custom wound OT be a better option - one that has a tap for el34 and one for KT66 or 6L6GC (3.4 and 6.6, if i remember correctly) - and then install a switch to go between both taps? I know a tech who winds his own transformers so maybe he could do this?
What is your take on this - try it or leave it?
I know - some will say - just get both. But it's too expensive and to my ears there is also too much similarities tonewise to have two seperate amps for this.
Best regards,
VintageCharlie
