Whats the plate voltage on the Metro 50w pt?

I would like to know what the b+ / plate voltage
is on the MetroAmp 50watt laydown power transformer is.

should be around 435 or so (IF I remember correctly). mine delivers 465 with 235-238 volts into the 220 primary

Thanks Roe, I hope more people respond so I get
an idea of what people are getting.

Mercury Magnetics has a 50w pt w 420v on the plates.

That might be my ticket, I just checked and my
83' 50w which has 470v is redplateing. :evil:

I'm getting away with 465v. I prefer the sound of the higher voltage amps

Hey Jimmy, FYI, according to Randall Aiken, the Metro 50w PT should sag enough, from the rated 440v, to not cause a problem. :D 8)
