Ok so my build idea feature dual, independent 2204 preamps (4x 12ax7's) plus Larry's look +1 12ax7, and the PI +1 12ax7, at 100W so adding in another 4x EL34's, and switching circuitry;
so by my rought calculations, wiring all tube's heaters in parallel i get 6x 0.3A per 12AX7, plus 4x 1.5A per EL34, plus 0.5A for switching/ extra circuity giving me a total of 8.3A from my Power transformer that i need, along side with the 350V,
The Magnetics Components 800 replacement is only 7A, Hammond's replacement is 7A, and most others are 7-7.5A,
So would i get problems if i use 7A when my demand is 8.3? The only other PT i found that will work is O'netics SLO-100 PT, but that one is only sold as a bundle...
Let me know!
