Swapping a laydown PT for an upright

I am new to amp building experience. I am excited to build but please excuse me for my ignorance...

I ordered the JCM800 2204 amp kit from Ceriatone. I thought it would be a good first amp kit to start with. To save money, I got "package 1" without the transformers and tubes.

Amp:

I am going to use a standup PT instead of the laydown style and had Nik build me a custom chassi to accept the standup PT.

The Question I have is will the following PT work with this kit. I am assuming it will but the wiring (leads?) is different from the layout of the amp. Do I have to modify the layout to get it to accept the PT? If so, does anybody have some advice to what I need to do?

PT Specs:

Also, If there is any other information that I should include let me know.

Thanks for your help!!

Following should help clarify our 40-18023 to the Ceriatone JCM 800 2204:

I hope this helps!

Yes this helps a lot. I have updated the layout using your diagram.

I have a few follow-ups if you don't mind.

1. From your diagram "E" is not needed so I took it off the diagram all together.

2. Does it matter what Heater leasts to F1 and F2? On my new layout I have the Black Heater Lead going to F1 and the Orange Heater Lead going to F2.

3 I assume that I can use either red Plate lead or is there a specific one for each connection.

Thanks for your help.

Also wanted to let you know that I purchased an OT and a Choke from Classic Tone as well. I did a sound comparison and Classic Tone came out on top for me.

The diagram is correct and looks good!

To answer your questions in numerical order:

#1) "E" removed is correct.

#2) No, it does not matter.

#3) Yes, you can use use either red lead

I'm glad we could help and you prefer our transformers!

Thank You!
