What companies made replacement OT's in early -70's?
Someone must have been making them before guys like Chris, Brian, MM, Heyboer and others... right?

Magnetic Components has been making them since the '40s. Their site says they made them for a lot of other rebranded companies and also a lot of unlabelled "made in USA" iron.

As I understand it, most of Marshall's early amps were made from readily available, catalog parts from Radiospares, Dagnall and Drake. Were there any other British companies that made replacement OT's besides Partridge, Dagnall, Drake and Radiospares? Also, what about Arco Electronics; did they offer transformers? Where would they have sourced them from?
