Cutting off unused pt primary taps

..and heat shrinking them off? I'd like to make my power section cleaner and I just thought around if you could just leave 120v and 240v (and of course the common) as those are pretty much the only taps needed for operation worldwide, keeping heaters still within spec in. Is this acceptable?
