Hi all,

i just build my first jtm45 clone (tubeampdoctor) so i am a bit of a rookie.

i ordered the Mercury O45RS-L but i need some help with the wiring its a bit difficult for me.

heres the link with the wiring diagram
https://www.mercurymagnetics.com/2018/w ... 45RS-L.pdf

is this correct:

primary
Green white on pin 3 V4
Green on pin 3 V5

Great transformer. I've used this same one since I build my amp in 06. I'm at work right now but when I get home later today, I'll look at my notes and confirm with you.

Are you using KT-66's or EL-34's?

Hi sorry for not answering but i tought that my question
Was not approved because i saw it nowhere back.

Just looked at my inbox and here it is. :D

I use KT66
But the output tranny is already installed.
The guy (local MM dealer) installed it for me.
And he made it switchable from 8 or 16 ohm.
It works great

Just finished the build and it sounds awesome
Ist better clean than my deluxe reverb

Bit flubby on the bass but thats how the jtm rolls i think.

Glad to hear it. Definitely one of the least know secrets to some serious tone. EL-34's or the KT's.
