George, if you win that tranny, would you use it as a benchmark to compare your clone, or dissect it for hands on re-creation data?

Definately for a tonal reference. I wouldn't dissect a working example.
The build specs are actually well documented already, anyways.
To be honest, that OT will probably sell for twice my max bid.

I paid around 250 for an actual 67 Self Lead Dagnall on Ebay.
I bought it off MarshallHead
