Hi,

I have a Marshall 9100 power amp that I never use. So now I wonder if the transformers in this amp is worth trying in a new marshall-kind-of amp project, or something? Anyone have a clue where to find the specifications?

Thanks

Those transformers are the same specs as the 100 watt JCM 900 parts.

You could build a couple 100's with them. No problem.

Thanks George! Is it 100's even if the amp spec. is 2x50w?

My apologies, I was thinking of the 9200. You can build (2) 50 watts!!

Any idea what will happen if I go with 2 or 4xEL84?

Those power transformers should handle (4) EL84's.

The output will work, but the primary impedance is not optimum for these.
