I dont know, my first strat in some time.. I know reliableFender on ebay sell the RIs 57 and so on but are these the same as I have now? Sure looks like it, I put the pups in her, and disconnected middle ;-) dont want it, man she sound nice, not bad for a 200 dollar axe, going to take getting use to tho after the musicman axis lol this neck is like paper thin, she has a great country rock vibe to her thats for sure!!Little bit of chicken pickin lol

I want to say that the hole spacing is different, so I'm doubtful that there's much aftermarket stuff for it. I know the MIM string spacing is different, it throws me whenever I go from my MIJ '62 to either of my MIM Strats.

Hey, MA... Ive used Dimarzio Virtual Vintage Solo Pro pups for the bridge position on my mij strat, and they work pretty good. Its a relatively powerful pup for a strat, though, kinda like a P90. I also use a Virtual Blues in the neck position, which is also nice. They are not as authentically "strat" sounding as something like a Fralin, but they do sound decent, and have no noise thru a high gain amp, which is a great trade off. BTW, if you're not using the middle pup (I dont either), make sure to lower it as close to flush to the top of the pickguard as possible. The magnetism from that pup makes the guitar play out of tune past the 12th fret. Even if you DO use the middle pup, its a good idea to lower it as much as possible, while still getting a usable signal from it, cause that pup is why strats sound a little strange when playing above the 12th fret. 8) 8)

Thanks, Yes I took notice of that lol so I lowered her as soon as i heard some funkyness in her, and took it right away thanks for the heads up tho
I put two Hs3s in her neck and bridge she is pretty chunky but yet has that Fender twang to her ;-) which I want, this is going to be my chickin pickin strat, they are not bad guitars for the cash, i was surpirsed, why people have to spend 2-3k on axe I dont get that??
Now I wantto upgrade the bridge and Im done.
