i made one of thos brass sustain blocks for my floyd rose bridge on my guitar.what a huge difference it made!!the guitar just seems like it will sustain for days,its amazing.here is a link to a couple of guy who make them.

interesting... How did you cut the brass? or did you luck across a piece the right size?

i cut it on our bridgeport mill at work.i made 4 of them for all of my guitars and just tried one of them out last night.im blown away at how much of a difference it makes!!

I just stumbled on this post. Yeah..I was surprised the difference it made too. The one I have came stock in my HP Special. It can be adjusted with two allen screws accessable through an opening cut in the cover plate in the back. In just a instant I have have it floating or set just to dive-bomb.

The Wolfgang rest on the wood to get better sustain...but I like the brass block better. It really livens things up.
