Has anybody?
I know a few have made EVH replicas or inspired versions. Has anyone used the boogie bodies, body and neck in making their guitar? The Fender luthier, Chris lastname?, who made the very expensive EVH relic said the Frankenstrat's neck and body still had the boogie body's stamp on it.

I have or I should say Erik Goehrisch from Lush guitars has made me something LIKE the old Frankenstrat. It does not have the graphics:
Hard Ash Body
Original Floyd Rose w/ D-tuna
EVH 78' bridge p/u pickup and Linday Fralin Blues neck p/u
Black Oil Finish only
Strat style jack on top of body
Frankenstraat made 21-fret neck with CBS 70's heastock, jumbo pyramid frets, 12" radius neck (i think), large Schaller tuners, schaller strap locks...pics to come.
Erik had done work for EVH, Matt Bruck etc just to name a few. He does excellent work and his prices are not your typical LA wanna be luthiers. They were reasonable and he is the best!! If you want his number let me know. BTW< the sound is beyond my expectations. I can go from EVH to Stevie Ray with the flick of my 2-way switch. The Lindy Fralin Blues p/u compliments my EVH 9k very nicely. There is no blend between the 2, its one or the other. Much better to keep the sound seperate.

Marco, that looks alot like my Warmoth strat. Mine is hard ash too ( thin, clear ,nitro finish) my floyd doesnt have the 'd'tuna, and the headstock is the smaller version. If I end up keeping this one (after a year or 2, I often sell a guitar), I will get a big headstock neck. I love having a bridge hb'er along with the neck single coil. Very versatile guitar for sure.
