I can't wait to get some glass on this 1958 solid body Supro's strings.
These sound great for slide playing. The white case is even in real nice shape. There's an older Supro with a $2400 BIN on ebay now.
The problem will be to get it down here on the island without paying a heavy tarriff and still insure it well at the same time.
Anyone have one? I'm curious about the elec. caps.

Iching to get my hands on this Dualtone.. supposed to be here weds.
This guitar suppose to be real nice for slide playing. I play in standard tune useually 1/2 step dwn. I like to add a layer of sound with the slide, not over power the flavor, so I play normal and slip the slide in. This is why I use standard tuning.
Come on... there's got to be some slide players familiar with this Supro...
That song by Chris Isaak, Wicked Game, should sound sweet
with some slide work, just a thought.
take care

Man... what a nice instrament! The sound is unique, I guess to these Dualtone's. The sound off the 50's true V neck at the 12th fret area has that tubular sound Good Strats have. I don't know how to describe it but I hear it and look for it. When this is amped its sweet. I'll have to play it more. The action is extremely low and it even plays slide ok but I'll have to raise it. The body is lighter than my strat. WhenI get a proper setting I'll record it,

BTW there is a nice 67 Supro hollowboby on ebay for less than 200
the one I got is also a real instrament, Woody, nice but again I just got it and have to run it, but its a KILLER!
