Ampeg Dan Armstrong.....?

Post by ohmygodtheykilledkenny » Wed Feb 13, 2008 11:48 pm

I've talked to a few guys locally who have played them, and all said that they were pretty choice, do any of you have experience with them. I know that they are Made in Japan, feature Bill Lawrence pickups, and overall seem very unique (apparently, not just according to the advertisement...they sustain for days). They are not priced crazily either, and that whole switchable pickup thing has got me intrigued.

Just curious is all.

Yeah, they are notoriously heavy. What does yours weigh in? What does it sound like?
