What are the standard stratocaster body dimensions? L, W & thickness (I think thickness is 1 & 3/4"...?)

Need to know for making some blanks for body making!!

Thx Yeah, it is but it doesn't tell me the measuments for a blank

If you look at this book in a bookstore:
The Fender Stratocaster by A.R. Duchossir on page 45 there is a detailed factory blueprint of a '62 Vintage reissue body from Fullerton, I don't have a scanner sorry and to photograph it wouuldn't help, but if you go to a Borders or Barnes and Noble, or equivalent booksellers, this drawing has all the cutaways and reliefs detailed as well.. :)

Wow, great stuff man Thx, I found in there (1954) 18"L, 12.75"W, 1.75T, just what I needed.... :wink:
