Actually, one guy complemented me on my accent, and hes from, well I dont know, but he liked the way I talked, southern sounding but not too heavy.
If you want heavy southern accent, you should listen to the blue collar guys, I mean real ones, not Jeff Foxworthy. Im serious, these guys just grunt at each other! Its hilarious, untill one tells you something, and you keep asking "Excuse me, what did you say" 20 times.
