1. Is this possible to have 2 neck position pickup's ?
2. What will the phase issue be or interference ? Orientation ?
3. Is this a dumb idea?

Re: 1 Hum 2 Neck's ???
One way to find out? I was confused about the two necks versus a double neck guitar....

I'm not 100% sure but I think you would still have to connect one of the hot wires to the other pu's ground and then just use the 1st pu's hot and 2nds ground to your switch. I think in order for the to be hum canceling, they must still be on the same circuit. A split coil just shorts out one of the coils.

Re: 2 singles coil's for the neck position ???
If it works and if it is two strat single coils with the covers, then the 'width' is gonna surpass a regular hb'er, resulting in the part of the string/s that go over the pu to catch a 'wider' spectrum, resulting in a sound that would be very bassy/undefined. If you used one or the other, only the one closest to the neck would sound good, cause the other would be a bit like either the middle or neck pu. I may have surmised wrongly though, as to what it is your trying to do though ?
