How about Clapton's LP he used with Mayall and at the very beginning of Cream?

We should also do a top ten list about amps...

Shared #1:

Blackmore's Strat he used on the Machine Head.
Blackie has got perhaps the best Strat thru Marshall tone. Ever. (though I'm not saying that Jimi's and Eric's tones plain suck, but they are not so fat, their great, but not as fat. And Yngwie has good tone, too)

Jimmy Page's Les Paul
How The West Was Won. Nuff said

#3 David Gilmours Black strat

#4 Peter Green's Les Paul (great stuff played on this by both Greeny and Moore)

#5 YJM's Strat

#6 Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates

#7 Randy Rhoads RR1 original protypes (actually both, I'd love both vintage trem and TOM)

#8 Gibson Custom Shop Korina Explorer

#9 Thin Lizzy's Brian Robertsons Les Paul Dlx, before he and Scott took off the mini buckers. Standard DLX might do also

#10 Paganini's acoustic guitar. Seriously, that would be great.
Let there be rock - And Marshall.

I'm really liking these lists!

Can I add:

EVH's Ibanez Destroyer (AKA shark guitar)
whatever Django Reinhard played
Slash's LP copy (I can never remember the luthier's name...Chris Derrig?)
George Lynch's flame ESP
Steve Morse's tele
whatever Charlie Christain played
Danny gatton's tele (and his LP...why not?)
John Lennon's Gibson acoustic with the "moustache" bridge
Jimmy Bryant's tele
John Syke's black LP
at leasty one of Yngwie's old Strats

is that 10 already? Closer to a baker's dozen.

I work for a rather well known Vintage guitar dealer and I've seen a lot of vintage guitars famous and not and I must say they're just planks of wood lads ;)

Still they're rather cool.

personally I'd like to play Greeny, but wouldn't wanna own it.

Here's mine ,

1) Woodstock Strat

2) Band Of Gypsys Strat

3) Jimi's White rosewood board strat (Axis, Ladyland)

4) Uli Jon Roth's 'White Star' strat ('74 model I think)

5) Michael Schenkers main V ( he sold it)

6) The Moore/Green '59 Les Paul

7) Michael Schenkers V used on 'Lights Out' album. It was a '67 or '68 that originally had a trem bridge. Michael put a stop tunomatic tailpiece on, as well as putting a black pick guard on replacing the white one. It was a black V.

8) EVH Frankenstein

9) Blackmore's Black and white "Machine Head-"Made In Japan" strat

10) Ace Frehley's Les Paul on the 'ALIVE !" album cover.
