Albert Collins used to have a super long cord. He would coil it up like a firehose on stage. I saw him in a small club, and he went out the front door of the place. There were people waiting outside the sold out show, and he was out there shaking hands, and playing all the while. One of the crew had to manage the cord while he moved around. I'll never forget that.
