interesting idea, i must say though, before locking tremolos & digital tuners you could immediately sort the men from the boys. maybe automatic toilet paper is next? i'll tune my own!

Wow, Gibson is pretty proud of their unique, not so new invention.

Wonder if they ever heard of these guys....

I should've explained that my thinking this was cool ...was more like ,what can they think of next ?????????

...push a button and you can play your song of choice ?

This is for that wealthy guitar collector who thought he had everything.

until now...

Now he can have his Les Paul that tunes itself

I bet this comes at a stupid price.......I don't even want to know.

I 2nd the no thanks as well

Jimi would have laughed his ass off. Then we would have worshipped ass-less Jimi. THAT is why nothing good can come from this. Seriously, its a gimmick right up there with paying the "Star Registry" name a star for someone, from you as a gift. "Oh, wow, honey!!! NOBODY else has THAT star, its MINE!!!! Ill twist my own knobs. :? 8)

Yea I can see Jimmy Page using it in a heart beat after all he used that transperformance thing. Nothing cool about playing out of tune. I like this a lot better than pitch changing via a harmonizer the way the VG works.

I'm with you guys 1000% But I did see Mark Hitt demo the transpermonce setup at NAMM. Mark is a big Page fan and he was playing all these alternate tuning Zep songs at the touch of button. Kinda weird watching the guitar retune itself at the touch of a button. Kinda like "RoboGuotar" or something :?
