Man,
My kids love to mess around with my guitar. They don't really want to play it, they just want to make a crap load of noise.

I won't hand my son anything but a Fender, because if you're not looking you'll turn around and he'll be walking on it. Literally.
Fenders will survive. I would hate to see the neck on a Gibson after that kind of thing.

are you sure you want to encourage this sort of behaviour? and the guitar especially... i don't have to tell you what type of people these "guitar" people turn out to be...

My kids make enough noise without 'arming' them with a 100W Marshall
You must be the worlds greatest Dad, be half deaf, or have nerves of steel!

If you look carefully, you'll see the HotPlate back there... needless to say it was heavily attenated when I "armed" him.
