Cary its a killer guitar actually except for one thing...
notice the angle of the strings to the nut to the tuning pegs.
this guitar probably does a poor job of staying in tune with a stock trem. ( and even without using the trem)

It is the one of the key differences between a killer luthier and an OK one, the attention they put on not only cutting the nut but where the holes are drilled for the tuning keys.
for any guitar to stay in tune well these things have to have alot of a attention put on them let alone a guitar with a trem.

I've own the same guitar in the 90's never had a problem with keeping it in tune. (Used it as a hard tail.)The nut is graphite and this helps with any tuning issues. I would say with the shipping cost it seems a little high. If you could get it at the BIN price and free ship, then you'd be doing all right.
