What mods do you Epiphone users do (Flying V)

I've got the electronics replacement all set, just wondering about hardware.

What kind of bridge do you usually put on your Epiphones?

I was thinking of an RS AVR-2 or something.

What about tuners?

I've got the stock grovers, I'm not sure what ones are the same size (would require no drilling).

Just got a new little somethin' for christmas...

Should I leave the grover tuners? This is a Flying V with strings through the body, and it goes out of tune more than I'd like it to.

I've got a set of old replica kulsons on my strat, that guitar never really goes out of tune (and I use the tremelo!)

Should I get some Kulsons from RS?

What about a ABR-1? Would changing the bridge from the stock Epi bridge be good? Maybe pigtail or something? I'm not sure what model bridge it has now.

IMO stick with the Grovers !
I would look into The Rotomatics.
18:1 ratio (not the vintage 14:1)
The also make them in a locking series...

I might get the Grover Keystone/Kluson copies that lock, so I wouldn't have to put in a conversion bushing or something.

The problem the Epi's have is that they use Metric bridge and tailpiece bushings so I don't think you will be able to get an ABR1 on there.

I am thinking about getting an Epi Dot and wondering about this problem too. Tone pro's sells a bridge for asia guitars but its bigger than a ABR and more like a nashville.
