Humbucker Phase----LesPaul
Let's say I replace both pickups (Bridge and Neck) in a LesPaul with Gibson PAF Classic bridge position pups. Do I have to flip the magnet on one of the pickups to have the correct polarity between the two?

No, you dont have to do anything with the mags. If you start changing around mags, you're gonna get a very out of phase sound when both pickups are on, AND when using the pickup you swapped the mag on by itself. Plus, you're taking a chance in getting microphonics on that pickup. (It doesnt matter that you're replacing the pickups with 2 bridge pickups... that has no bearing on polarity)Tazin wrote:Let's say I replace both pickups (Bridge and Neck) in a LesPaul with Gibson PAF Classic bridge position pups.
