Lol. Having 10 guitar players on stage at the same time has never sounded good at any point in the history of rock.

The version on the original G3 tour isnt bad. Its not Beck and of coarse it still sounds a little like shred guys doing bluesy rock but its not bad at all.

It almost like a contest to see who can play the most notes before the drummer stops.

Actually, it sounds like 10 huge egos beating the hell out of eachother, like a bad cage match.

Check out G3 in Denver with Yngwie, he cuts through Vai and Satriani with his killer tone and vintage gear, playing authentic Hendrix licks, not shred versions, !

Trying to find any discernable music there is like trying to find a single specific grain of sand on a beach...

while wearing boxing gloves...

and a blindfold...

at night.

Andy, you didn't care for his croaking vocals  ,not his best vocal performance and he was still drinking and smoking back then.

All 3 of those guys should stay clear of mic to be honest.

Years back after the first G3 tour there was some kind of survey on Joe's site asking about the tour for suggestions (or something like that it was a while back) and the overwhelming reply. 'Dont sing anymore' 8)
