Strat Neck Heel

Hey gang I got this hard ash body off sleezebay I have neck i want to put on her one problem got the body she is 2 1/4 heel I have 2 3/16? Is this doable and what do I need to do? I do not want to mess my strat neck up?

wouldn't you have to rout the body out wider? maybe divebomb or one of the guys here could do it if you don't have a shop setup?

Actually she has a gap the neck is stand. 2 3/16 the bode was 2 1/4 I thinking shim each side 1/16 and make damn sure she lines up before I start drillin holes on my brand new birds eye, hey where has ole Kyle been?? I have not seen him around?? Hey kyle if you are out there how much to do a top mount Floyd shelf, Im swapping necks on another axe that has the one and only FR I will use?

Hey do any of you guys still go over G101 George Mangos, had a killer lay out post on the F Rose route any of you here have that post or know where I can find that, it was beyond awesome step by step.

ooh right, sorry i misunderstood. that might be a little funky shimming it in like that. it seems like it could be done.
