How to verify a real 1951 Nocaster

I have a chance to pick up what is supposed to be a real 1951 Nocaster for way under market value. Of course that leaves me skeptical. Is there a way to verify for sure that it's real?

Here's a bit of the ad text "This guitar is in very good condition. It's had a refinish and a replaced pickguard. Also, the neck pickup has been re-wound by Lollar Guitars. Everything else appears to be original. All chrome parts are very clean. The saddles are slightly tarnished. Original frets show considerable wear. Neck date reads: TG 8/28/51. Neck pocket on the body reads: JS 8/16/51. Neck shape is a soft V. Serial number on bridge is 1914.
This guitar comes with it's original thermometer case."

Too good to be true? Or great deal? They want under $5k for it. I plan on visiting it in person today or tomorrow. What should I look for?

if the headstock moves from left to right , it's a nocaster ! LOL

That seems like a REALLY good price if its the real deal, even with the re-fin and rewound neck pup. If the bridge pup and all other parts are authentic, this would be a no-brainer. If you can wait till tomorrow, I have a book in work that has every aspect of a Tele described in great detail. I used it when I bought a '54 Tele a few years ago that I needed to authenticate. Ill post what I can find out once I get that book from work.

Thanks for the info. It seemed too good to be true and I think it is. I wrote saying I'd like to come see it today if possible and got this reply:
