Does anybody have some experience with the Fender Custom Shop Custom '54 Strat PU set?

Thanks!

This is what I have got in my Strat... George really likes them, I really like them and everyone that has played it at the last few amps shows like them... I don't plan on changing them out anytime soon! I replaced the vintage noiseless which I thought really took away some sparkle... If I get time this weekend I'll post some clips, but it has been hard to find the time lately....

They especially sounded great through George's JTM45/100. VERY clean Hendrixy...

Gutpiles '54's sounded way fat and tasty at the LAdecibel show and he recieved many a compliment on his p/u's with the JTM 45/100.
It was a beautiful thing.

Thanks Mike, you've encouraged me to try it.

They will go now in a alder body, one piece maple neck and Wilkinsin V100 equipped Strat, I've buyed on Messe Frankfurt last week :D

I actually had a set that I sold on Ebay about a month ago. They were very bright and clean sounding, very chimey. I didn't like them with distortion sounds that much, but there were lots of interesting clean sounds to be had, each position sounded very different. Great clarity.
If I ever think I want to get married, I'll find a woman I don't like and buy her a house.
