i think it's pretty cool. should be alot of fun to compose & record with. cool color too. i still have a crush from the 70's on those metallic surf guitars.

ok, a lil disappointed noone had anything (good) to say about the 12 string strat. it's not a custom shop $20,000,000 model or a true vintage, but, as a working guitar. i think i will cultivate an affinity for it.

1) it's a strat (alder)
2) everything is machined & assembled well
3) it has a nice full "c" neck. i like the rosewood fretboards personally.
4) strat pickup config & 5 way switch lends to a good spectrum of tones
5) again, the metallic blue conjures warm memories of the early simpler days of rock guitar.

note: if you think compensatory tuning for "running with the devil" is interesting, try tuning a 12-string for any particular song. fortunately, it has 12 individual adjustable saddles with regard to strobe tuning. i'll have to spend some time on that this weekend. i'll post samples when it's tweaked.

That's pretty cool. I was thinking I'd like to get a 12 string electric yesterday when some "Help!" era Beatles popped up on my iPod. I'd like to hear what that sounds like compared to a Rickenbacker.

Thats crazy....yeah you totally got a good deal here! I could never justify droping that much on a guitar.

I'd rather get close with my parts-caster's/re-issues and not be afraid to beat the hell out of it for my own amusment.

no doubt! those belong in a vault or museum somewhere. same with the amps, why tour with a vintage relic when you could have a metro with a few miles on it tweaked to perfection.
