It was to my understanding that all of the patent # pups had "T" tops.
Maybe some of the experts can chime in?

Sorry, I should have given more details about it... yes, it has the little black "patent #" sticker, double-black coils, long wire and short magnet. It was the "neck pickup" in a '69 SG. It was original to the guitar... could it perhaps be a left-over PAF? Strange.Decal? If it's a decaled pat #, and no T's, surprise, you just got a PAF.. basically.
It has a short wire, it was mounted in the bridge.. I am psychic.
Chrome cover.. if it's stickered, it's a ''64-65.
If the number is struck into the bottom plate, it's mid/late '70's. Post-T. heh
