This is an alternate string wrapping techique, I use the one wrapping above and below the string through the hole:

Interesting... I'll have to give it a shot. I usually wrap as much string that will fit on the peg. I thought BB King wrapped the whole damn string? I was always under the impression that the more metal you had on the peg the better the tone.... IIRC, don't they make "sustainers", or something silly like that, that adds weight to the headstock for that purpose? Either way, simple enough to try...

That's exactly how I do it. I've been doing it for a couple of years. Can't remember where I learned to do it though.
