Wiring troubleshooting

I recently ordered a set of pots and caps from Dr. Vintage. The neck controls work fine, but the bridge controls do not. I have checked all wiring from the toggle to the jack. What would I need to do to check on those pots to know if one is bad? I can hear a very faint sound on the bridge PU if I crank the volume on my amp, like someone is playing guitar a block away! But obviously that's not right. When in the middle position with both volumes full up, you get nothing, turn the bridge volume down a hair, bam, volume comes up and you can hear it fine. I measured resistance across both pots and the neck shows .514 and the bridge .509. Please advise. :(

to test if they are bad just wire the bridge to by-pass each pot. Could also be a dead pup? Double check the wiring with different sources.

Thanks for the help. Rick is the man! He really went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot, and a new pot is on the way. :)

Alligator clip the pickups + strait to the switch that'll tell ya if the pup and switdch are good.
