Do the brushed and polished PAF covers age the same way ?

i was wondering if the brushed and polished silver nickel / nickel plated covers are aging the same way ?
what is your method to age / tarnish them ?
also, were the original 50's to mid 60's PAF covers , polished ?

My R8 had the VOS covers (not aged, but not shiny). After half a year they had aged a whole lot, rusty and and all. That was just from playing. I now have High Orders with polished nickel covers, and they are aging much slower.

yes but the gibson pu's covers are not silver nickel/ nickel plated covers as the original ones, if i don't make any mistake , they have brass under the plated nickel.

No,the brushed ones tend to get crows feet and liver spots with age.

i didn't buy goth pu's , mine were said to turn into paul kossof , just with a needle and a spoon !
