G6131MY or 6128T ?

it's been years i'm thinking about buying a gretsch duo jet double cutaway (and it was my birthday 2 days ago ! LOL) and i still hesitate between the malcolm young signature 2 pu's model and the 6128T with filtertron pu's and bigsby.

i was afraid the badass bridge wouldn't give enough sustain but some people on the forum said it was not a problem , the badass bridge was working fine for them.

a guy came in my house to try a jtm45 i built and i was blown away how good this guitar was sounding (he had the "' 6128T " but single cutaway model, not sure if it's named 6128T ?).

i don't care about the malcolm signature but i wonder if i should take the bigsby model knowing i don't plan to use the vibrato much on that guitar (but i'd like one on a sg61 ri) , that's why i thought about the malcolm signature as it doesn't have the vibrato.

is there way to replace the stock vibrato and "wood" bridge with a standard tailpiece and bridge ?

what model are available and did you try them on your 6128T ?

also, i prefer the black colour, so if i can find some standard bridge and tailpiece to put on, i might take the 6128T more than the 6131MYR (or natural color).

i heard they were of better quality for a few years (since bought by fender ??) but i don't know from what year ?

isn't it possible to get a 6128 w/o tremolo?
I love my 6131my - I've had it for 4 and one half years. It's a great guitar, live and in the studio. good for neil young, the who, ac/dc, beatles etc

i don't think the 6128T duo jet double cutaway is available without tremolo, or i would have bought it !

i asked and it seems only the duo jet single cutaway is available without vibrato.
the 6128 is really beautifull in black color.

i wonder if it would be possible to install an ABR-1 bridge and tailpiece (or similar) on the 6128T ?
