i came accross those pu's recently, looking for some authentic sounding late 50's, early and mid 60's strat pu clones that would really sound close to the real ones.
it seems there is a shop in France importing Lollar pu's and the boss of the shop that seems to have many vintage guitars , seems to favor the Angeltone ones for his personal use , over the Lollar he distributes here .
a friend of mine that has a 63 and 66 strat and that had several actual prod ones up to some master built,; told me the lollar were sounding more modern than the original ones ( although i haven't heard them) , so i was wondering if those couls sound better ?
i have been searching for some good PAF / T-Top repros for a while and spent several thousand dollars during 6 or 7 years to find what i was looking for, so i wouldn't like to renew that experience for strat and tele pu's ! LOL
did you try Angeltone strat and tele pu's ?
