I know WOT was mentioning theis cool Adrian Smith Jackson Strathead. I like the maple neck, but with the white pickguard
While were at in in Jackson's, here is a cool Phil Collen demo of his PC-1, which I have always drooled over, especially in the cool colors on the quilted maple, like chlorine, ect, tasty player our Phil!!

As President of the Iron Maiden A.L.S. I'm embarrassed to admit this is the first I've heard of an Adrian Smith guitar.

Walter, this is a replica of a Jackson 'Strathead' as the are termed, that was stolen from him many years back on the road. It originally had a top mounted output jack socket as in a stock Fender Stratocaster. The misleading part is that Jackson is calling it the Adrian Smith "Dinky", which means a 7/8th sized Strat body, but this clearly is a full sized Stratocaster body. I believe Adrian also uses Fenders with humbuckers fitted, but I am not that familiar with Iron Maiden, many of Adrian's fans in the Jackson/Charvel world have been waiting a long time for this to be released.
It will be street $1900, which the consenus on USA Charvel forum is slightly too expensive, but they always say that!

Interesting... Adrian his demonstrated an lifelong appreciation of all sorts of guitars, but has recently stuck with a Jackson strat type tuitar... I believe this one appeared on Somewhere in Time or Seventh Son... (I know for sure it was there for Seventh Son).
Nothing too exciting... just your typcical fat strat with a floyd rose, but I'll give Adrian credit... at the time of this guitar, Jackson was sporting the pointy headstock and Adrian's was the vintage Fender / San Dimas style.
I love Iron Maiden, but not enough to buy an "Adrain" or "Dave" signature guitar.... even Dave has given up the old strat with SD and gone to Hot Rails... keep it.

I'm hearing you..

The only signature guitars I will be buying in the future, will be specially made, 'real' versions of some artists guitars, that are 100% technically accurate. As I own 4 signature model guitars, 3 different versions, one I have two of (Gary Moore Heritage), but of all those, only my Washburn Custom Shop Steve Stevens SS 80 has been proven to be authentically as played by Steve, not personally, but as close as one can get technically!
