I have a 1993 Cherry Flying V with a Gibson Custom shop logo on the back of the headstock. Thing is there were no Custom shop V's in 93... Actually in 93 Custom shop was still a "Custom Shop"... not the current meaning of custom shop...

This guitar does not show up in Gruhn's guide to vintage guitars or any Vintage guitar Price guide (in front of me as I type this...) or website info, Gibson customer service can't tell me anything either... Thing is in '93... There are no custom shop Flying V's listed anywhere.

The other thing that really intregues me are the PAF pickups (see pictures)... they have the signature of Seth Lover and Seymore Duncan on the back...? A real signature... with a pen? Does anyone know about this???

Any info would be appreviated.

I had a pair of Duncan Seth Lover pickups that had the signatures in a blue ink that did look a lot like a real pen -- are you positive the pickups haven't been changed out?
