Since Heritage is located in Michigan, I suppose some of you guys have played them. What do you think?

I don't live in Michigan, but I have two Heritage Gary Moore models amd they are my favorite Les Paul type guitars, besides my Gibson '52 Goldtop!
They are well built and are factory plek'd as well these days.

i own a H-550 and a H-535. both are great instruments, and i really dig the quality of these instruments. if you don't mind the non-gibson-style-headstock (well, some people just buy gibsons cause they are gibsons) i'd go for the heritage. nice build quality, better priced, play and sound pretty good, and they definitely look cool too.
but as always, try before buy... i own a gibson es335 too, and it sounds and plays different to the heritage. ok, my heritage got a bigsby too, but the body depth is also a bit narrower compared to the gibson. 2 different guitars imo, it depends on what you feel more comfortable with. guess it's the same with the les pauls.
but before i'd buy a new standard production gibson, i'd definitely go with the heritage.
