Wow, nice stuff. I'll have to check out his shop sometime on my way back to Toronto. Do you have any a idea what his Bluesmaster - the Les Paul with humbuckers - is worth?

Yeah, I just got an email back from him. You're right - it's a tad more, actually. I bet it's worth every penny, though.

My friend I saw and played a few of his guitars and they are just pure magic, he is 100% old school! Have a friend here who ask him to fix his neck on his Historic LP (it was way to fat for him), he was kinda affraid to make the change but Brian convinced him it would not show a hair from before and after the fact. You just can tell other then feel the neck thinner and more confortable...
Some says that Brian Monty is one of the top 5 luthiers in world for Les Paul stuff!!

Excellent. I contacted him for my '74 LP fretboard as I don't trust any luthiers in Ottawa. I just don't have the time to look at it right now because I have 4 guitar builds I'm trying to finish off, on top of a new band, fixing up my 2550 and projects around the house that my wife wants to to finish.
I just need to make the trip. He's 1.5 hours from my place. Next trip to MTL, I guess.
