Just curious what I should use to clean my guitars paint? I have always used towel and it has always left swirl marks. I got some "lizard spit" guitar cleaner but i'm not sure thats the best way or if it's even safe for nitro.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Try a felt cloth and Maguire's mirror glaze (available at auto parts stores)

You can use any high quality polish for instruments.
The thing to stay away from is any auto polish that may contain silicone like a lot of the current fast waxes for cars.
It can really screw up a finish particularly if it is a lacquer finish.
You can use plain old water and mild detergent and dampen a cloth with it.
Not soaking wet mind you, just slightly damp.
The dry the guitar where you wiped it.
To polish, use a high grade wax made for guitars. Carnauba waxes work pretty well.

Microfibre cloth. Ever-so-slightly damp.

I have some of that for my LCD TV.
I think it also has some antistatic additive in it as the dust and stuff doesn't seem to be attracted to the TV screen.
I'll have to give that a try.
