So now I can claim my Gibsons have Madagascar rosewood, and sell them at an insane markup???

That report seems curiously void of any hard facts.

I dont see how that could be, federal agents served a warrent,
seized wood, guitars, computers and boxes of files.

Also Henry J. steped down from the rain forest alliance
because of this.

Those are some pretty hard facts to me.

Yeah, more info eventually came out. The article cited in that first post was austere.

The real question is; will this be an event that will drive up the prices of the historics and others that were made from this wood....similar to pre-fire martins vs. post fire martins?

It is unfortunately quite probable that this "event" will be used as an argument to drive the prices higher still... :roll: ...
