About to rewire a Tele and considering this for a tone cap. Easy enough to see how it sounds but curious what type it is beforehand.

checked their site and didn't find anything, but it sorta looks like polystyrene

looks just like the tropyfol caps used on old AC30s. they were polyester I believe.

Polyester? Decent tone cap? I'm one of the few who don't care for paper in oil as I find they tend to rob some low end even with the volume on 10. Again, I'll give it a shot, just curious as to the type.
