Have you used those Wilkinson trems before?
I am getting ready to do a strat build and I think I am going with a vintage 6-screw type but am keeping an open mind.

Im just curious... are you going to modify the body or neck at all to get a closer fit at the neck heel? Tele's have a square neck heel and Strats are semi-rounded.
I think Strat bodies can accommodate a Tele neck better than a Tele can accommodate a Strat neck, so if you leave it as is Im sure it will be ok anyway.

I haven't used them before but have had a lot of recommendations for them. Good luck with your build.

If I have to modify it I will, but like you said I'm sure it will be fine. Never seen a Strat Neck being put onto a Tele.

Either way, it just takes a little mod to the body or the neck, but it can be done pretty easily.

Dude that strat is NIICE! When you put together the strat did it require any modifications?

Sorry, bro... not mine!! I pulled those pics off a Google search!!!

This guitar is mine though, and I did the same basic thing to it. The factory neck heel was rounded like a Strat. I decided to round off the heel of the Tele neck thats on it now instead of modding the body, in case I ever want to refit the stock neck back on.

Go with the Vintage, the modern versions saddles are actually kinda cheap and you need a special set screw(incl) to adjust them. Look and sound great otherwise.
