Nice! The commercial is funny when you know he trashed strats on stage, because of tuning issues.

Nice ! Not going there, on that price though.
Gonna' hafta' try dat one out !
I have a feeling that this could be a Fender CS Winner ! ...but again, not in the price.

I had a Trower 4 bolter (for a ⅓ price) for a month... I wanted to like it knowing the man & his tones...
It was too sterile and had a NON Trower vibe to me. 9+ plus pounds and in Artic white too. yukk !
The 3 bolter was actually a step up, but... C'mon Fender, Get it right.... Olympic !

Non scalloped, kool ! I like that thicker oversized semi-short Gilmour bar. Looks to be a smaller bar version of his main axe from back in the day. or a Uli Roth size. ( I not sure, but I think Steve Stevens also currently uses an oversized one ?) I use the Gilmour shorties myself.
I remember the first unofficial Fender made with a scallop neck - pre-YJM's
Then Fender came out with the Neck/Bridge model. Those guitar smoked the YJM's because they had a shallow scallop and that made for a less baseball bat. Rosewoods are a little less Louisville....

I am a "69 guy, but I would like to know what ver.'68 this is if it leans more towards the '69's or the thinner '67's...
I do not care for the CS '67's Japan makes a better one for the $$$...

Flip the treble pickup the other way, lose the special trem arm and you have the perfect BOG Hendrix Strat!!

I played that strat 4 years ago - actually it was a fender '68 reissue strat custom shop - 68 pickups, maple neck and black alder body, big headstock, 4 bolts F logo... no schallers and a regular trem arm though, 9" radius but the same thing to me :what:
That particular guitar was the best sounding regular sss stratocaster I've ever played.. a good friend of mine still owns it
