Post by NY Chief » Mon Feb 02, 2015 11:02 pm

F'n Govt union Post Office bullcrap. Bought an expensive guitar on ebay. Moron seller ships USPS. Are you stupid??? The Post Office???? Now they "can't find it". Some crook ass mailman is playing a really cool Washburn Eric Sardinas ES20 Resonator. Keep your eyes out. They are pretty rare. The moron wlil prob try to sell it on ebay. Ebay better reimburse me according to their rules. we'll see how long THAT takes. I'm pissed >:-<<<<<

So today I get approx a dozen emails, all within a few hours....

Arrived Santa Ana
Sorted Santa Ana
Departed Santa Ana
Arrived Irvine
Sorted Irvine
Departed Irvine
On truck for Delivery.....

There was nothing posted from 1/20 when it was "accepted" in Enola, PA 'till today a few hours ago. Oh well, at least it made it and the seller was working his end to locate it.

F'n snail mail post office BS. It better be in good shape when I get it!! :x

No disrespect intended, but I don't know why anyone would ever buy a guitar off eBay.
I know I never will.

I did once. Had a pair of long chats on the phone with the seller -- an older gentleman many states away. He was clearly a straight-shooter so I bit. And the guitar was even nicer than he described.

But I hear ya...

Absolutely agree. Its a crap shoot but sometimes if it's something unique, rare, HAD to have it's the only choice. I always make sure the seller has a return policy and agrees that you have to play it to finalize the sale. Got a couple of great strats and pauls sight "unplayed" that thankfully went well.
