how does the MY duojet ri gretsch compare with some 60's ?

i'd like to know how the malcolm young gretsch ri compare with an original mid 60's ?
does it have enough top end to crunch a superbass and some good low end ?

it seems there are no gretsch duojet users here.
i ask that cause i was very disapointed with my angus young sg that has very poor high frequencies !
