Is this a good or bad thing? It had to happen...digital LP.

I say its a good thing. Digital home recording w/ computers and the like is getting more and more popular.

They tried stuff like this back in the day with low impediance electronics. Didn't really catch on but the recording studios seemed to be the ones who liked them.

I sure hope the hex pick up tracks better than what's on most synthezer guitars. I know my "Roland Ready" strat doesn't track real well. I think George's day job is secure for a while.

Been there, done that.
After all the rack shit I've gone through, all the midi crap, all the tecno this and techno that, I found that what I was missing was good wood and tubes.
And by the time I quit farting around with all the silicon crap my playing really suffered. Play through all that stuff for awhile and pretty soon you find the guitar almost plays itself. Silicon hides a multitude of sins.
These days it's guitar, cord, amp and fingers. Maybe a tubescreamer once in a while. I'm having to relearn alot of stuff and I'm not a young pup anymore. It's twice as hard now.
Hi, I'm Mike, and I'm a recovering rackoholic  .

Yea you can then be super talented and play with hot artists like the Black Eyed Peas... so you can copy any tone in the world right down to the exact wavelength.

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW ME... I HATE DIGITIZED TWANGER!

Honed chops + quality tube amp + quality guitar = TONE ETERNAL

Crap... I forgot where I seen a decent demo with soundclips of this thing.
Was at the Indy NAAM last year and thought it was the perfect studio/session players guitar.
It played and felt exactly like a normal Les Paul...Guess it's finally in production...
It sounded really good.
Wouldn't own it though...
