Hey fellas,

I have a question about AC hum. I was noticing a bit of hum the second day after completing the amp. I popped her open and started tapping around with a chopstick to see if I could find anything. Well, I found that the screen grid feed to V2 (green wire post the pair of 68k) seem awfully microphonic...just tapping on (with guitar plugged in and volume at 0) them creates quite audible "thumping" noises. Is this normal or do I have some other issue afoot? I also noticed that V1 will exhibit similar noises, however, its respective volume must be quite high to allow this.

Be sure that the tube is not going microphonic. I had one so bad it fedback hum....pain in the ass.
