Im looking forward to a tone report!
It's great - applies easily, doesn't clump up, and dissolves when re-soldered.wildebassman wrote:Looks neat, how does it stand up to your expectations....?d20 wrote:Oh...the red stuff on the solder joints is Dykem.

I'm not sure if it's the same stuff Marshall used, but it seems fairly close color-wise and behaves in all the right ways.stump wrote:I've only seen Dykem in blue, didn't know it comes in red. Is that the same stuff that Marshall used? Very nice work!
Ok, I see where you were coming from now. Yes, that would've been funny. What threw me off was the fact that you quoted my mentioning that I used Dykem. Now that I understand, no harm, no foul.wildebassman wrote:I really liked your; "It's great - applies easily, doesn't clump up, and dissolves when re-soldered." I thought it was your funny comment about the amp. That's what made me laugh.... nothing else, then later on I finally understood you were talking about the Dykem...oh stupid me...
Enjoy the amp looks and sounds great!
Dennis.
