Hi All
I am currently building at 50watt kit using a marstran pt that has the heater wire connections towards the switch side of the chassis. I have seen photos of some builds using this pt that have the heater wiring following around the chassis to the back of the tube sockets then wired normally from there. Is there any pros to wiring this way or is it better to wire directly to the tube socket over the top of the pt

Re: Heater Wiring
In general shorter wires = less noise/hum, So I would solder heaters as short as possible. Some people wire them directly above sockets just to have shorter connections
